Bogdan Dolzhenko

Fencing Coach

B.S. in Physical Education with an emphasis on teaching and coaching the sport of fencing. Education and experience in the theory of an athlete’s preparation and methodology of physical education.

    Ilya Bilko

    Fencing Coach

    Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Ilya Bilko is a talented fencer who began his journey at the age of 7. He quickly rose through the ranks, becoming one of the leaders in his age group in the children's league.

    Igor Yurin

    Fencing Coach

    Igor started fencing at the age of 7 and was one of the leaders of the children's league in his age group. In 2013, Igor enrolled in the Nikolaev Higher School of Physical Culture, Nikolaev, Ukraine. In 2016, he enrolled in the Lviv State School of Physical Culture. After graduating, he enrolled in the Lviv State University of Physical Culture named after Ivan Bobersky, majoring in sports (bachelor's degree). In 2022, he enrolled in the State University of Physical Education and Sports in Chisinau, Moldova, majoring in sports (master's degree).

    Academic background includes a specialization in Coaching Activity from the Academy of Physical Education (AWF Poznań, Poland), Sports Rehabilitation from the National University of Physical Education and Sports (Kyiv, Ukraine), and medical education from Medical School (Poznań, Poland).

    Demyd

    Fencing Coach

    Demyd began his fencing journey at the age of 5 in 2010. In his first four years of competition, he consistently placed in the top ranks at national and city tournaments throughout Ukraine.At international competitions in Chisinau, Moldova, he reached the top 8 in individual events and secured second place with his team at the ages of 13 and 14. As a cadet, Demyd regularly ranked among the top 8 in both cadet and junior tournaments in Ukraine.In 2021, he achieved second place in the individual category at the Ukrainian Championship for the 2004 age group, earning the title of Candidate for Master of Sport (CMS). That same year, he led the Ukrainian national team rankings and secured first place in the team event as a member of “Kyiv 1.”Demyd has been an active member of the Kyiv and Ukrainian cadet national teams. In 2020, he and his team, “Ukraine 1,” reached the top 8 at the Cadet Circuit in Budapest, Hungary.Beyond his achievements, Demyd frequently conducted physical training sessions for younger groups at his sports school and provided individual lessons.

    Dmytro Farionov

    Fencing Coach

    Dmytro Farionov is an experienced Foil and Epee coach at Prime Fencing Academy. He began his fencing career at the age of 9 and quickly became one of the top young athletes in his city of Mykolaiv, Ukraine. In 2018, he enrolled at Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University in Mykolaiv, where he pursued a degree in sports. Dmytro also holds a Master degree in Biology.
